At Defra we respect and protect the privacy of everyone using our services. That’s why we’ll only save personal information that relates to your carbon footprint profile, so that you can return to retrieve and update your footprint in the future.

We may also use your information to:

• Occasionally send you emails, including a reminder to update your footprint to see how your results have changed!
• Create anonymised statistical analysis of the overall UK domestic footprint.

We will never use your information for any purpose other than those stated, or pass on your details to 3rd parties without your consent.
